Kaleb is marrying his best friend since grade school. They met at elementary school some years ago and met up again at High School when Krystal was a Sophomore. They have been inseparable since. Kaleb recalled that he could spend the rest of his life with Krystal when they were simply doing ordinary everyday things and could have fun doing anything. She was his soul mate.

In October 22nd 2007 Kaleb decided to visit Krystal in Grundy, West Virginia where Krystal was studying Pharmacy. It was supposed to be a surprise but Krystal knew something was up. Kaleb wasn't his usual self that day, in fact he could hardly talk all day. He was white as a sheet, recalled Krystal. They were hiking at the Breaks Interstate Park and was enjoying the scenic overlooks when Kaleb got down on his knee to proposed. He waited till they were at the last overlook to ask what he had wanted to ask all day. Krystal was beyond happy to finally say YES!
